About Lachlan Conn

Lachlan Conn hails from Geelong, where he learned to avoid any drinking establishment with the words ‘saloon’ or ‘sports bar’ written above the door. He now lives in a shopfront with a girl, a boy, a fish and a cat, and together they run an art space and venue called Forepaw. As an illustrator Lachlan’s clients have included Greenpeace, The New York Times, Hewlett-Packard and the Big Day Out. He once got such a bad sunburn on his legs it looked as though he was wearing hot pink, hairy, thigh high stockings. He suspects that if he were a bird he would be preoccupied by the building of beautiful, elaborate geodesic nests.
