Marcela Restrepo

About Marcela Restrepo

Marcela Restrepo grew up, a fearless child, in Medellin, Colombia, where she began her drawing career by illustrating walls and bed linen. She now resides in Sydney, Australia. She is left-handed, and runs a website that aims to bring together talented left-handed artists from around the world. She has a graphic design degree from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Medelin, and since moving to Australia has completed a graduate course in drawing at the College of Fine Arts of the University of New South Wales. Her delicate, sensitive work has appeared in The Telegraph magazine in London. At the moment her favourite cordial is green, although she has been known to favour lemon and lime. She is sun smart, and has yet to suffer a severe sunburn in Australia.
