Pandarosa

About Pandarosa

Pandarosa are Ariel Aguilera and Andrea Benyi. Originally hailing from Chile and Hungary, they joined forces in Melbourne, and occasionally suffer cravings for the chocolate sweetness of their countries desserts. One of the pandas was born on the 30th of December, which unfortunately means receiving the usual ‘two in one’ present. They both enjoy riding their bikes while looking up, which isn’t always safe, & hope to improve on their drum playing & pattern making skills respectively. Pandarosa have a commitment towards developing their very own perspectives of thinking, feeling and researching in their illustrations & through their work aim to not only describe but also stimulate the imagination. They show the possibility of a tight coexistance between design and art. Their unique work has appeared in such publication as Artichoke, (inside), Grafik, Tokion, and Frame & they have created projects for clients like Volkswagon, Puma, Die Gestalten Verlag & Fairfax. They both dislike pink but aren’t afraid to use it.
