Emma Rowland

Emma Rowland is an illustrator and visual communicator based on Gadigal Land (Sydney). She loves helping organisations tell their stories clearly through live drawing, graphic recording, explainer videos, and custom illustration. With a background in sign painting and graphic design, Emma’s style is playful yet precise.

Emma has worked with clients like IBM, Google, Red Bull, Commbank, Finder, NSW Health and Little Creatures. She has a knack for turning complex and challenging topics into engaging and coherent visuals, helping her clients connect and make decisions with confidence.

Emma’s work is inspired by old signage and lettering, Australiana and vintage cartography. Travelling interstate and overseas to support her clients in solving their tricky challenges keeps her motivated to continue growing her expertise.

Outside of work, Emma loves sunrise swimming in ocean pools, volunteering in the garden at her local community centre and hanging out with her chatty cat, Cleo.
