Till Lauer
Bio

Till Lauer is a Swiss illustrator, animator and visual artist based in Brooklyn, New York.
Till has created covers for The New Yorker, The Economist, Variety and The Guardian Weekly. Other clients include Apple, The New York Times, WhatsApp and Greenpeace. His work has been exhibited and recognised internationally. Most notably, his New Yorker covers earned him a Gold and a Silver Cube at the ADC Awards, and he has received a Silver Medal from the Society of Illustrators as well as a Wood Pencil at the D&AD Awards. Till has taught at HEAD Geneva, the Basel School of Design and the Lucerne School of Design, and he has given guest lectures at Pratt Institute, Parsons and FIT in New York.
Till loves distilling complex content into striking visual concepts and coming up with ideas for any topic, surface or medium. When he’s not drawing, he’s probably running to catch the subway, fighting for his life on a Citi Bike, or people-watching at a corner bar during Friday happy hour.
