Lili Tae

Lili Tae (Lili Pinthita Taechamongkalapiwat) is an artist/illustrator based in Bangkok, Thailand. Her artworks are inspired by her dreams and subconscious mind. Bizarre images and fragmented narratives linger after she awakens, which she then translates through mellow brushstrokes and vibrant colours. Her use of shading and highlights, combined with saturated hues, lends her illustrations a sense of realism infused with fantasy and surrealism.

She also draws inspiration from nature, as hiking through wooded landscapes is one of her favourite pastimes. During these walks, she seeks out beautiful insects and intriguing naturally occurring textures, which later find their way into her work.
