Who doesn’t love a recap - especially at this time of year. Here’s all our new artists for part 1 of our 2025 Seasonal Update, wrapped up in a neat lil bow! We can’t wait to create some magic with this glorious bunch! 💝
Take a meander through Jeff's illustrations featured in the campaign for Drummond House, a new family-friendly residential development in Carlton. Jeff’s loose, casual style perfectly captures the vibe of living in one of Melbourne’s most famous, culturally rich and walkable urban suburbs. Big thanks to the legends at Self-titled Design for getting us on board for this project!
One of our favourite group projects of the year: gift cards for Airbnb, featuring idyllic scenes to inspire travel illustrated by Ciara Quilty-Harper, Ibrahim Rayintakath, Kento IIDA and Marc Martin.
These paper art pieces by Benja Harney Telstra's Xmas campaign are definitely on the nice list! Rolling out at phone booths across Australia now - via the nice people at Bear Meets Eagle On Fire! 📞🎅
A big cheer for the next artist to join our 2025 Seasonal Update - Florian Schommer! Bringing with him some classic German precision, perfect colour combinations and an impressive ability to drink beer, Florian specialises in bold illustration and design for branding, packaging and editorial projects and creates his best work when the brief is detailed and the apartment is clean (same Florian, same). Get more into the details at Florian's full folio.
Presenting her first solo exhibition since 2019, Kat Macleod’s new collection of mixed media artworks explore the wonder of trees and the spirits that might inhabit them. Ancient Greek Mythology described tree dwelling beings as Dryads, known for their unique ability to evoke deep emotions such as joy, sadness and awe in those who gazed upon their homes. Working with watercolour on canvas, Kat captures the ethereal energy of these nymphs allowing colour and form to bleed and blend.
‘Dryads’ will run from 30 November 2024 to 25 January 2025 at Lamington Drive.
Brolga’s characters walk the walk for RMIT's UP program, which provides uni entry pathways for international students. With creative production by Hase Creative and animation by Oscar Gomez.
Get into the holiday spirit with this cozy animation by TheLittleLabs for Netflix! Navigate to the ‘Holidays’ category in the Netflix app to watch this on the big screen, then settle in with some hot cocoa and cue that holiday comfort watch! ☕🧣️💕
The new reel for Jacky Winter Animation has landed - featuring our new animation artists for JW'25, remixed with some of our greatest hits!
This year, we really focused on refreshing our animation offering with some spectacular new talent, while also honing in on what we can offer that others can't - which is the ability to put any artist together with one of our animators to bring static artwork into swooshing, jumping, transforming motion.
Choose from our roster or choose-your-own. We can animate any artist, any style.
Hit us up anytime to get your project moving!
🎬 BIG thanks to Josh Le Good for putting this reel together for us!
Say g’day to Liz, Producer and Agent, self-professed organisation nerd and tallest team member at JW Melbourne!
Before landing at Jacky Winter, Liz worked extensively in outdoor media, turning the city streets into effective marketing campaigns for music and arts industry clients. Here at JWHQ, Liz continues to take projects from idea to reality, connecting clients with the perfect artist and handling all the intricate details in between. Whether she’s pulling all stops to make a brief work, picking up those extra holiday enquiries or helping us get that thing down from that shelf, Liz's conscientious and caring nature is clear to see and a joy to work with.
We’re flavour trippin’ over Emma's work for Wanderlands snacks! Chef-crafted snacks and packaging with a view - we’ll take all of them thank you! 🙌🏜️

Welcoming Boston based director, animator and illustrator Rohan Patrick McDonald to our roster! Rohan’s unique perspective has been present since he was a kid drawing dinosaurs (starting with the feet first) and aeroplanes (from the front, not the side). He is fascinated by analog techniques and blends print media, animation, music, and sound design to create elevated, breathtaking visual content. While his work spans many different styles and media, it consistently remains grounded in a hand-drawn perspective. There's more from Rohan's perspective at his full profile page.
Hi, hello, it’s time to introduce you to our next new artist: Marcie LaCerte! We are proud to announce that we here at JW are joining the ranks of Agents For Change — a collection of agencies in the UK who are committed to amplifying the voices of creatives from typically underrepresented groups, with a goal of increasing diversity across the industry. And this week we’re taking part in their first ever Talent Takeover!
Taking place tomorrow, September 23rd, the takeover sees a range of creative agencies each sharing the work of a selected emerging artist, in order to introduce them to our followers (that’s you!) and showcase their amazing work!
Keep your eyes peeled in our stories tomorrow for the takeover, and make sure to follow @agentsforchange_ on Instagram.
Calling all illustricians! Inspired by our very own @_steph_hughes_ who is a fierce talent both as an illustrator AND a musician — we started to ask ourselves, ‘How many other creatives out there are living (not-so) secret double lives as rock stars?’ — To help answer the question, we’ve created a Spotify playlist of ‘Illustricians’. (Yes, we know it’s a terrible name, but let’s consider it a placeholder for now…)
We’ve only just started to add tracks featuring some of our favourite local and international talents such as
@bjennymontero
@lucyroleff
@robertbeattyart
@owengildersleeve
@christophernielsen
@tychomusic
@aaronlowell
... and more, but we need your help growing it into something bigger!
If you are or know of an illustrator who would qualify, please either DM us here, or read more and fill out the form at jwg.is/djing and we’ll update the playlist as quickly as we can! Please share and repost if you can as well! 🎵
