Meet Kirsten - producer, god-tier-council-EOI-submitter and secret-tiger-tattooer at JW Melbourne!
With a background in public art production, festivals and place-making, Kirsten brings a healthy dose of curiosity and energy to the team and is keyed into the powerful role that art plays in enriching our everyday lives. Since she joined us in October last year, she’s been busy blazing through briefs, being a core player in spreading the word about Jacky Winter Spaces, and rocking every hair colour from platinum blonde to Dua-Lipa red. Follow the link to keep reading about Kirsten!

Application deadlines for our 2025 residencies at Jacky Winter Places have been extended to 4 April! ⏰
7 levels, 8 artists. In one of our biggest group projects to date, Jacky Winter worked United Make and AusPost to curate and create artwork for each level of the Australia Post Support Centre in Burnley. Each artist's creative brief was linked to their home postcode, allowing them to tell a visual story that connected with their place and history with an identifiably Australian brand.

Wake up to trippy and punchy new packaging illustrated by Rebecca ter Borg to go with Atomic Coffee Roasters' Fruit Punch blend. This box will have you tasting a never-ending summer 🍊
New cover artworks by Carlos Oliveras Colom and Florian Schommer are on rotation for Bacardi’s Music Liberates Music campaign, which champions underrepresented voices in the music industry - via BBDO New York.

It’s Steph’s turn to step into the staff spotlight. A Producer & Agent at our Melbourne office, Steph has always been drawn to production and has worked across event management, advertising, interior design and even reality TV!
If picking up incoming enquiries was a sport, Steph would be pro-level. Carrying with her an innate ability to keep things chill even in the most demanding times, Steph gets things moving and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks. She’s also down for anything - whether it’s a tricky brief, an extra round of snacks or filling in as a last minute paddler on a dragon boating team. Click to see more from Steph!
Weronika was one of over 150 visual artists asked by Coldplay to help create #afilmforthefuture for their new album, Moon Music. Each artist was given a handful of short audio snippets from the album and asked to create accompanying visuals, with no other rules other than to follow their own inspiration. We’re over the moon about Weronika’s contribution to the song JUPiTER, “painted on paper with love and joy joy joy”! 🪐

Our JW’25 seasonal update continues with the addition of visual designer and lettering artist Carlos Oliveras Colom, aka Don Carrrlos!
Born and raised in Puerto Rico and now based in New York, Carlos uses lettering as a way to express himself and his creativity. Playful, emotive and a little bit wild, his letters and illustrations are meant to be seen but also felt - drawing people in and making them want to interact. Says Carlos, “My work is rooted in equality, and the desire to represent for the underdogs...I enjoy pushing the boundaries of what is considered a letter and be surprised by what I create”.
You can find Carlos doing his best work under a cozy hoodie, with fully charged headphones blasting Bad Bunny and Gaga!

Classic ocean icons and beach vibes feature in Ross Murray's limited edition collab with Winesmiths for its premium cask wine range in NZ.

Benja created a rainbow kaleidoscope of almost 1000 paper flowers as a symbol of queer joy, community and the power of art for Archie Rose's 2025 Mardi Gras Campaign. The final installation is brightly coloured, celebratory and textured - just like the vibrant Mardi Gras season it represents.
Says Benja, “Archie Rose’s campaigns for Mardi Gras have become iconic and to be part of that legacy is an honour. Hands down one of my all time favourite creations.”

DDB Sydney needed a super quick turnaround mural on the most visible wall in their office, and Elin delivered in spades, designing and hand painting a bright, feel-good piece in record time to welcome staff, clients and partners to the agency!

Delaney joined JW towards the end of 2024 and in a few short months has become an absolute gun producer, managing complex work across different areas, communicating brilliantly with clients and artists alike and bringing such positive energy to the team. Delaney’s a bit of a creative spark herself, having studied opera for 10 years before pivoting to the film industry to work in set design. We also hear she’s got some scenic painting and harp playing skills in her back pocket!
Needless to say - we’re so happy to have you with us Delaney! We can’t wait to see what else you can do (and be serenaded in opera in our next all-hands zoom call) 🎤

Kenzo Hamazaki’s ‘Spring in Bloom’ artwork will have you chasing butterflies and dancing under spring skies, in this new limited edition collab with LUSH for White Day.

Beautiful illustrations by Tete Garcia to match beautiful words by Judy Thompson - ‘My Language Rights’ is out now! Published by Scribble, ‘My Language Rights’ champions every child’s right to their own language and shows how language is more than just words - it carries our stories, memories, and culture.

The Chinese Garden of Friendship in Sydney celebrated the 2025 Lunar New Year with the unveiling of two huge paper snake sculptures by paper engineer Benja Harney - who coincidentally is also born in the year of the snake! Made up of thousands of hand-cut-and-glued paper scales, these sculptures will be on public display in The Hall of Longevity and The Water Pavilion for the next few weeks.
Only love for these illustrations and poster artworks by Michelle Pereira for SHINE SA, celebrating sexual health and relationship wellbeing for all. Keep an eye out for these illustrations in SHINE SA’s online training modules, health care centres, community organisations and youth centres.

Walmart is here to celebrate the everyday moments. From in-store murals to digital screens, Walmart’s warm and contemporary new illustration style tells the story of its customers and partners, and welcomes you into the world of Walmart, wherever you encounter it. Big kudos to Jacky Winter artists Ross Murray, Nash Weerasekera, Jason Solo and Kelly Llanos who contributed their talents to this brand refresh and special thanks to JKR Global for partnering with us on this epic project!

If you’ve had any interaction with Jacky Winter anytime over the last, oh, 12 years, chances are you’ve already met our next team member: Bianca Bramham, Managing Agent and Producer (and reigning Queen B) at JWUSA!
Bianca has played no small part in making Jacky Winter what it is today. She’s been with us since the early days in the backstreets of Melbourne, and after moving across the ocean to set up our first international office in New York, now oversees our US operations. Bianca splits her work days between new business developing, artist managing, team building, client nurturing, document writing, brainstorming, problem solving, strategising (and maybe a bit of leftover-pizza-eating) - all with one mission in mind: to help creative people achieve whatever it is they want to achieve.
We’ve loved seeing her accomplish this mission for our artists, clients, colleagues and everybody in between. Tap through to see more from B!

We love a group project here at Jacky Winter and this seamless collection of brand system illustrations for Amazon Web Services are no exception - featuring sleek and shiny works by Carla McRae, Ibrahim Rayintakath, Jerry-Lee Bosmans and Kasia Bojanowska.

To celebrate 250 years of shoemaking, Birkenstock invited Jake Foreman to take a dive into its archives and reimagine an iconic piece of imagery from BIRKENSTOCK’s past.
Watch Jake transform a promotional poster from 1981 - “It’s funny how ads like this were effective back in the day, but now they feel kind of ironic. I think my playful illustration style taps into that.”
Thanks to AKQA for sharing this brief with us.

Presenting her first solo exhibition since 2019, Kat Macleod’s new collection of mixed media artworks explore the wonder of trees and the spirits that might inhabit them. Ancient Greek Mythology described tree dwelling beings as Dryads, known for their unique ability to evoke deep emotions such as joy, sadness and awe in those who gazed upon their homes. Working with watercolour on canvas, Kat captures the ethereal energy of these nymphs allowing colour and form to bleed and blend.
‘Dryads’ will run from 30 November 2024 to 25 January 2025 at Lamington Drive.

🎬 BIG thanks to Josh Le Good for putting this reel together for us!

Say g’day to Liz, Producer and Agent, self-professed organisation nerd and tallest team member at JW Melbourne!

Here at JWHQ, Liz continues to take projects from idea to reality, connecting clients with the perfect artist and handling all the intricate details in between. Whether she’s pulling all stops to make a brief work, picking up those extra holiday enquiries or helping us get that thing down from that shelf, Liz's conscientious and caring nature is clear to see and a joy to work with.

We are proud to announce that we here at JW are joining the ranks of Agents For Change — a collection of agencies in the UK who are committed to amplifying the voices of creatives from typically underrepresented groups, with a goal of increasing diversity across the industry. And this week we’re taking part in their first ever Talent Takeover!
Taking place tomorrow, September 23rd, the takeover sees a range of creative agencies each sharing the work of a selected emerging artist, in order to introduce them to our followers (that’s you!) and showcase their amazing work!
Keep your eyes peeled in our stories tomorrow for the takeover, and make sure to follow @agentsforchange_ on Instagram.
Calling all illustricians! Inspired by our very own @_steph_hughes_ who is a fierce talent both as an illustrator AND a musician — we started to ask ourselves, ‘How many other creatives out there are living (not-so) secret double lives as rock stars?’ — To help answer the question, we’ve created a Spotify playlist of ‘Illustricians’. (Yes, we know it’s a terrible name, but let’s consider it a placeholder for now…)
We’ve only just started to add tracks featuring some of our favourite local and international talents such as
@bjennymontero
@lucyroleff
@robertbeattyart
@owengildersleeve
@christophernielsen
@tychomusic
@aaronlowell
... and more, but we need your help growing it into something bigger!
If you are or know of an illustrator who would qualify, please either DM us here, or read more and fill out the form at jwg.is/djing and we’ll update the playlist as quickly as we can! Please share and repost if you can as well! 🎵
